Most damaging events — theft, intrusion, vandalism, unauthorised access — are not stopped by heroic intervention. They are avoided by a credible presence. That is the core of Lion Security's unarmed guarding service: recognisable, trained officers working to written procedures that make your site an inconvenient target.

We carry no weapons. We rely on procedure, observation and speed: our officer documents, reports and calls the emergency number, giving the Italian police accurate information from the very first minute.

How our officers work

Every assignment starts with a written operating plan agreed with your contact: what to cover, at what times, with which checks and which alert thresholds. The officer does not improvise — they follow written assignment instructions covering patrol routes, sensitive points, visitor identification and the escalation chain.

At the end of each shift you receive a digital report with times, completed checks, anomalies found and, where relevant, photographs. That is the difference between having a caretaker and having documented security — evidence that also matters to your insurer.

Working alongside law enforcement

Lion Security operates as private security that complements, never replaces, police activity. Our officers are trained to recognise and classify events, preserve the scene and provide the Carabinieri and State Police with a qualified report: what happened, when, who was present and which recordings exist.

When a static post is the right choice

A static post makes sense when your site has continuous flows of people or vehicles, long opening hours, or a history of incidents that must be interrupted. When risk is concentrated in limited time windows, combining a smaller post with inspection patrols is usually better value — and we will tell you so during the survey, even when it means selling fewer hours.

From static guarding to the other services

Unarmed guarding is the foundation the other services rest on. Where continuous cover is not required, protection is built with inspection patrols; where the critical point is the entrance, with access control; where hospitality matters as much as control, with concierge services.

For temporary requirements, scheduled cover or reinforcement over a defined period there is a dedicated option: tailored security services. In every case the personnel are unarmed and work in liaison with the police whenever a situation calls for it.
