Some situations are not solved by a better lock or another alarm: a former partner who keeps appearing outside the house, a neighbour who raises the stakes at every encounter, a client or former employee sending persistent messages, someone waiting at the end of a shift. These are circumstances in which the pressure is continuous and daily life gets reorganised around fear.

In these cases the contribution of private security is precise and limited, but it can be decisive: being there during exposed moments, making approach unlikely and turning confused episodes into documented facts. The rest falls to the authorities, and our work is built to support that, not to substitute for it.

Our role, stated plainly

Lion Security is an unarmed private security company. Our officers hold no police powers: they do not investigate, do not follow people, do not identify individuals, make no arrests and exercise no coercive power. We do not replace the police, the courts or a lawyer.

What we can do is concrete and sits entirely within prevention: presence, observation, deterrence, de-escalation, escort, logging of incidents and reporting. The moment conduct becomes a criminal matter or someone’s safety is at immediate risk, there is one procedure: move away from the critical point and call 112.

How we proceed

We begin with a confidential conversation, with no obligation. We reconstruct the chronology and frequency of incidents, the places involved, the critical hours and what steps have already been taken — a complaint filed, a report made, an order in force. That determines everything else: whether the service makes sense, in what form and for how long.

The resulting plan combines, depending on the case, escort on exposed journeys, discreet guarding of a home or premises during defined hours, presence at a scheduled meeting, and a log of incidents recording dates, times, places and objective descriptions. When it matters, this material gives substance to a complaint: the difference between "it has been going on for months" and a list of specific facts.

Cooperation with the competent authorities

The service is designed to sit alongside the institutional route, never to bypass it. Where a situation calls for protection, the path remains a report to the police and, if necessary, a formal complaint: our contribution is to make it more solid and to reduce exposure in the meantime. Where judicial orders are in force, the service is designed in full compliance with their content and with the roles they set out.
